EMDR TRAINING - SUPPORT AND SUPERVISION
SUPERVISION DURING TRAINING

- In order to benefit most from the training you will be encouraged to have supervision.
- Once you have completed Part one training and up until you complete Part 3, you will be entitled to 3 free email supervision sessions.
- You can use these sessions in order to confirm that someone is ready for EMDR treatment, because you are stuck or unsure what to do, or simply to check the work that you have done so far.
- To make use of this please download the Supervision Template, complete as much detail as you can and email it to admin@emdrworkshops.com.

- The EMDR Workshops team strongly encourage you to have on-going EMDR supervision in order to deepening your understanding and increasing skills in utilising the EMDR protocol. EMDR Workshops run supervision groups in London and York and plan to develop others during 2007. Email admin@emdrworkshops.com for the latest information.
- There is also a nation-wide network of supervisors who have been accredited by the EMDR UK and Ireland association and EMDR Europe. Supervision can be 1-to-1, by telephone, or in a group. Download this list of EMDR consultants to find a supervisor near you or someone who could offer telephone supervision. Alternatively visit the EMDR UK and Ireland Association website.

| EMDR ACCREDITED PRACTITIONER |
- After completing all three parts of your EMDR training you will be encouraged to work towards becoming an Accredited EMDR Practitioner. Accreditation takes place under the auspices of the EMDR professional organisations EMDR UK & Ireland Association and EMDR Europe.
- Accreditation as an EMDR practitioner requires a minimum of one year practice after completion of your basic training, during which you must completed at least 50 EMDR sessions and received professional supervision from an EMDR consultant. - EMDR Practitioners will have the opportunity to progress on to becoming an EMDR Consultant. You can download details here.
