Accreditation

After completion of all three parts of the basic EMDR accredited training provided by EMDR Workshops, individuals can work towards becoming accredited EMDR practitioners and after that, accredited EMDR consultants.

Accreditation takes place under the auspices of the EMDR professional organisation in the UK (EMDR UK & Ireland) and in Europe (EMDR Europe).

Accreditation as an EMDR practitioner can be achieved one year after completion of the basic training. The accreditation process requires that the therapist treats a certain number of patients/clients as well as receiving professional supervision from an EMDR consultant.
